Thomas J. South is the Treasurer for Evolutionary Markings, Inc. Tom is a 1979 graduate of the University of Idaho, with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified in Financial Forensics. Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Forensic, of the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants, of the Idaho State Board of Accountancy, and of the Client Assistance Fund Committee for the Idaho State Bar. Tom’s experience over the past 35 years is in the area of litigation support services and business valuations. He worked for Stratton & Teutsch, CPA’s, Ripley, Doorn, & Company, CPA’s, and currently is a principal with and manages the Boise office of CliftonLarsonAllen / LeMaster Daniels / South, Johnson & Company, P.A., Certified Public Accountants, with twenty employees under his direction.
He has been involved with over two hundred cases since 1985 including divorce, bankruptcy, voluntary/involuntary disposition of business interest, antitrust, malpractice, personal injury, wrongful termination\employment, wrongful death, fraud, breach of contract and related damage calculations. Tom has testified as an expert witness thirty-seven times and prepared thirty-five business valuations.
On his personal time, Tom is an avid golfer and enjoys helping young men and women get into the sport of golf, serving as the Treasurer of the Idaho Junior Golf Foundation Board. He also serves as the Treasurer of the Idaho Golf Association Board. In addition, Tom finds time to serve in various community charitable organizations, including treasurer for the Feed the Gap Board, treasurer of the Idaho Quality of Life Board, and the Boise Sunrise Rotary. Like Tom Linville, Tom joined the EMI team in part due to its intriguing potential to enhance highway safety.
